Once you understand some game rules, and master the player controls, Minecraft becomes an easy game. The game is regularly played by millions of players and out of these, a good number of players fit this description. Features:

General Mob Changes

  • Mobs have a doubled follow range (aggro range unchanged).
  • Mobs with a flee goal do not flee if their target has less than half health.
  • Most hostile mobs are now hostile to villagers.
  • Mobs riding other mobs pathfind with combined size to avoid going through blocks.

Arthropods (General)

  • No fall damage for arthropods.
  • Larvae spawn with a bonus speed depending on local difficulty.

Cave Spider

  • Can spawn naturally in caves; the deeper, the more common.
  • Cave spider jockey has a slight chance to spawn.

Silverfish

  • Infested stone can generate anywhere, not only under mountains.

Skeletons (General)

  • Sometimes runs away from the player.
  • Improved swimming behavior.

Skeleton

  • Can spawn with spectral arrows.

Stray

  • Shoots freezing arrows.
  • Can spawn in any cold biome.

Wither Skeleton

  • Adults can spawn holding a bow and shoot flame arrows.
  • Now carry an iron sword instead of a stone sword.

Skeleton Horse

  • Skeleton horse traps spawn different kinds of horsemen:
    • Regular Skeleton with spectral arrows.
    • Stray.
    • Bogged.
    • Wither Skeleton holding a bow.
  • Moves faster when ridden by mobs.

Undead (General)

  • Attacks steal life.
  • Ignore attacks from other undead mobs.

Phantom

  • Can target and fly through blocks.
  • Repelled by light with luminance level 10 or higher.
  • Can spawn in End Cities.

Zombies (General)

  • Improved knockback resistance.
  • More likely to call reinforcements.
  • Can call reinforcements of the same zombie type.
  • Adults can spawn with attribute variations:
    • Caller: higher reinforcement chance.
    • Runner: speed bonus.
    • Tank: health bonus.
    • Unstoppable: knockback resistance bonus.
  • Baby zombies can spawn stacked on top of each other.

Husk

  • Immune to fire damage.

Drowned

  • Spawns more often with a trident (similar to Bedrock).
  • Has increased water movement speed.
  • Baby drowned can ride a guardian.

Zombified Piglin

  • Has a chance to spawn as a “brute” variant:
    • Holds a golden axe instead of a golden sword.
    • Targets players on collision.

Zombie Horse

  • A Zombie Horse trap can spawn during thunderstorms, with four riders:
    • Zombie with an iron sword.
    • Zombie Villager with an iron axe and a guaranteed diamond chestplate.
    • Husk with an iron shovel.
    • Drowned with a trident.
  • Moves faster when ridden by mobs.

Illagers

Pillager

  • Can spawn as a Pillatrooper:
    • Can fly into the air with a firework rocket.
    • Shoots quick volleys of arrows when airborne.
    • First shot is always a firework rocket, with a chance to continue using rockets.
  • Increased chance to have the Piercing enchantment on their crossbow.

Evoker

  • Immune to arrows.
  • Has more health.

Illusioner

  • Can spawn in Woodland Mansions.

Vindicator

  • Can gain a speed bonus depending on local difficulty.
  • Can spawn in patrols.

Ravager

  • Can spawn in patrols, with or without a pillager rider.

Witch

  • Flees from the player.
  • Has a slightly increased spawn rate.

Overworld Mobs

Creeper

  • Immune to explosion damage; instead, explosions ignite them.
  • Their explosion inflicts Mining Fatigue and Weakness, with duration based on your distance.

Guardian

  • Can spawn naturally (rarely, similar to dolphins).
  • Silently attacks other mobs.

Slime

  • Can spawn with one larger size depending on local difficulty.
  • Can fuse with another same-sized slime on collision:
    • Each slime can fuse only once; fused children cannot fuse again.
  • Turns into a Magma Cube when in lava in the Nether.

Vex

  • Can spawn naturally in dark forests.
  • Dies when its summoner dies.

Nether Mobs

Blaze

  • Sets entities on fire on attack when it is burning.
  • Has a reduced follow range.

Ghast

  • Has much more health.

Magma Cube

  • Sets targets on fire on collision; fire duration depends on size.
  • Turns into a Slime when in water in the Overworld.

Piglin

  • Can spawn riding a Hoglin, with chance depending on local difficulty.
  • Are hostile to players who do not wear enough golden armor:
    • The required number of golden armor pieces is configurable.

End Mobs

Enderman

  • Can inflict Blindness on attack.

Endermite

  • Chorus plants are infested with endermites.
  • On attack, can teleport the player, similar to chorus fruits.

Shulker

  • Projectiles can cancel Levitation.

Bosses

Ender Dragon

  • A Phantom can spawn when an End Crystal is destroyed.
  • Endermen can target nearby players when a player is close to the dragon while it is sitting.
  • End Crystals respawn at specific Ender Dragon health thresholds.

Wither

  • Has more health.
  • At half health, spawns 3–4 Wither Skeletons (once), similar to Bedrock.
  • At half health, creates an explosion, similar to its initial spawn explosion.
  • Makes the weather stormy until death.
