If you want to turn off any feature from this mod, just create a file named stfu-disable.txt inside your config folder. In that file, write one feature name (or part of it) per line. For example, writing chat will turn off all chat-related tweaks, or you can write a specific one like RemoveOverlay.MouseMixin.
- chat.ImprovedCommandSuggestions – Makes the game suggest command arguments that contain what you type, not just ones that start with it. Also shows modded commands without typing minecraft: or the mod ID.
- chat.CommandLengthLimit – Lets you write super long commands (over 256 characters) in chat.
Note: It doesn’t work for normal messages, only for commands. - chat.Deduplicate – Removes repeated messages when using Compact Chat.
- chat.Filter – Hides messages from advancement or admin chat notifications.
- chat.MoreHistory – Lets you change how much old chat history is saved (via Max Chat History).
- chat.RemoveUnsignedIcon – Removes the warning icon beside unsigned chat messages.
- DisableWorldAdvice – Skips the “experimental features” warning when opening worlds (if you turned on Disable Custom World Advice).
- keybinds.MultipleBindingsPerKey – Lets you assign multiple actions to one key.
- keybinds.MultipleBindingsPerKey.NoReusedModifierKeyWarning – Removes warnings when you reuse modifier keys (like Shift) if it’s a mod default or combo.
- keybinds.RemapNarrator – Allows changing the narrator hotkey.
- RemoveOverlay – Removes the black background when resources reload and lets you still move or interact during reloads.
Also lets you stop the reload early if Disable Loading Fade Animation is on. - rendering.ModelGaps – Fixes tiny lines that sometimes appear between block models when Fix Gaps In Models is enabled.
- rendering.DisableParticles – Turns off all particles when Disable Particles is active.
- rendering.DisableTextureAnimation – Stops animated block textures when Animate Textures is turned off.
- rendering.DisableToasts – Removes annoying popups like:
- “Chat messages can’t be verified”
- Advancement and recipe toasts if you turned them off
- rendering.DisableWeather – Disables rain and snow effects and their sounds when Render Weather is off.
- rendering.ParticleCulling – Stops the game from drawing particles that you can’t see anyway.
- ThreadPriorities – Changes how much power each game thread gets (Render, Worker, Server).
Tip: Higher isn’t always better! - AllowScreensInPortals – Lets you open menus (like inventory) while standing in a Nether portal.
- CombineBars – Merges your Jump bar, XP bar, and Mount bar into one clean bar when Combine Bars is on.
- DefaultLANPort – Sets the LAN port to 25565 by default so you don’t need to type it manually.
- DefaultSettings – Makes Minecraft start with better default settings:
- No “Press Enter to Enable Narrator” popup
- No multiplayer warning or tutorial
- No Realms notifications
- Operator items tab turned on by default
- DisableLoadingTerrain – Removes the “Loading Terrain” screen when joining worlds or servers.
- DisablePackVersionMismatchScreen – Removes the “pack version mismatch” warning screen.
- FixInventoryTabSwitching – Makes switching inventory tabs smoother by reacting faster to mouse clicks.
- NoNightVisionFlicker – Removes the annoying flicker effect when night vision is about to run out.
- NoTelemetry – Turns off all telemetry (data tracking).
- RemoveWidgetFade – Makes buttons appear instantly instead of fading in on the title screen.
- Tooltips – Makes item tooltips wrap text nicely and stay fully visible on your screen.
- UnPinResourcePacks – Lets you reorder or change the priority of server resource packs.
