The Fossil Record Addon (1.21) (previously “Manatees Mobs”) is a survival-friendly prehistoric mobs addon that lets you excavate fossils, extract DNA, and clone 53 dinosaurs, pterosaurs, marine reptiles, and extinct animals (from all eras) to build immersive dinosaur parks or zoos-no taming required, fully compatible with survival.

Features:

  • Cloning System: Fossils → Spectrometer → DNA + Egg → Dino. Survival progression; craftable tools.
  • Feeding/Behavior: Carnivores need live food (prevents player attacks); no taming/starving. Size-based climbing.
  • Creatures (53 Total): Apatosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Mosasaurus, Gallimimus, Triceratops, Compsognathus, Stegosaurus. Others: Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Carnotaurus, Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Utahraptor, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, Quetzalcoatlus + extinct birds/mammals (Dodo, Thylacine, Great Auk). Retextures: Deinonychus, etc.
