Recently, MrBeast organized a special competition in which teams from multiple countries entered the world of Minecraft to build a simulated version of their own nation. The participating countries included the United Kingdom, Argentina, the Netherlands, Colombia, India, Poland, Turkey, the United States, and Vietnam. The rules were not simply about building on a large scale, but about recreating cultural icons, famous landmarks, and the “national spirit” within the Minecraft game.

Representing Vietnam was a build team led by YouTuber Neji (youtube.com/@nejicoconut). As soon as MrBeast and the judges arrived in the Ninh Bình (Vietnam) area in-game, a sense of awe quickly set in. The build was not only massive in scale but also showed meticulous attention to detail-from the mountainous terrain and grassy landscapes to customized vegetation and lamp systems-creating a feeling of majestic and almost surreal nature.

The exploration journey took viewers through many well-known locations in Ninh Bình, such as Múa Cave, Ngọa Long Mountain, the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex, lotus lakes, and Bái Đính Pagoda. The Vietnamese team also boldly used custom items-most notably decorative lamp posts that do not exist in vanilla Minecraft-to create a distinct impression of Vietnamese culture.

The first stop was the Vũ Lâm Royal Palace, which left a strong impression thanks to its colors and layout. MrBeast paid special attention to the lantern system-custom items added by the Vietnamese team to the map, even though they do not exist in the original Minecraft version. According to him, this demonstrated a serious level of investment, where not only the scale but even the smallest details were carefully crafted.

Some images of Ninh Bình in the Minecraft world were built so vividly by the Vietnamese team that they closely resembled real life:

Both MrBeast and the other guests expressed great excitement, offering many impressed remarks about the Vietnamese team’s work:

  • “Just the terrain alone is already insane,”
  • “Absolutely crazy,”
  • “It feels like you’re standing in real life,”
  • “I think this place is beautiful-nothing to criticize,”
  • “Not only is this the biggest map so far, but the small details are done extremely well,”
  • “It doesn’t even feel like Minecraft anymore. It’s like standing outside in real life. I can’t believe it,” …

“This map is not only incredibly vast, but every small detail inside is also done with great care. I give this build a perfect score-10 out of 10. This is exactly what I want to see whenever I watch maps like this,” MrBeast commented as he awarded a perfect 10 to the Vietnamese team.

In the final results, Vietnam scored 38.5 points, surpassing two strong competitors-Colombia and Turkey (both with 37.5 points)-to claim the championship. At the end of the video, MrBeast confirmed Vietnam’s victory and said he would send the championship trophy to the team of builders behind this impressive design-a memorable milestone for the Vietnamese gaming community on the international stage.

Online users also left countless congratulatory comments celebrating the Vietnamese team’s victory. Many netizens praised the build, expressed their admiration, and even said they hoped to visit Vietnam in real life to see these landmarks.

Some comments from netizens included:

  • The Vietnamese Minecraft community has done it-they’ve won. Congratulations!
  • Vietnamese brothers, check in. So proud!
  • The construction in Vietnam is very impressive. Greetings from India!
  • Congratulations to the builder team. Proud to be Vietnamese!
  • “Vietnam is the champion” has basically become a catchphrase now.
  • I’m Vietnamese and currently studying abroad, and the moment I saw this build, I recognized it immediately-Ninh Bình, my hometown. Seeing Vietnam ranked number one and my hometown represented like this truly moved me. I can’t wait for the day I return home. Thank you for showing the world how beautiful Vietnam is.
