Weather Physics Mod overhauls the standard Minecraft atmosphere with real-time storm lifecycles, dangerous tornadoes, and thick volumetric clouds. Storms form, rotate, and fade away across local areas instead of covering the entire world at once. You face shifting weather fronts, sudden wind gusts, bouncing hail, and branching 3D lightning bolts. A dedicated radar screen keeps track of severe threats so you can seek shelter before heavy winds arrive.

Weather Physics Mod

Features:

  • Destructive Tornadoes: Supercell storms create spinning funnels that rip blocks out of the terrain and fling mobs into the air.
  • Volumetric Clouds: Cloud formations build horizontally and vertically, shifting colors with the time of day and growing into giant storm anvils.
  • Suction Vortices: Landspouts drag nearby entities toward their center and turn into waterspouts when crossing rivers or oceans.
  • Hail and 3D Lightning: Ice pellets bounce off solid surfaces and sink in water, while electrical bolts branch across the sky.
  • Wind gusts physically shove players across open ground during intense squalls.
  • Weather fronts bring sheets of rain across specific biomes instead of blanketing the whole world.
  • Rainbows arch across the sky when rain meets sunset lighting conditions.
  • In-game radar tracks active vortex paths, clouds, and lightning strikes relative to your position.

Commands:

  • /weatherphysics spawncloud <type>: Spawns a chosen cloud type into the sky.
  • /weatherphysics startfront <minutes>: Starts a moving weather front for a set time limit.
  • /weatherphysics stopfront: Stops the active weather front immediately.
  • /weatherphysics clear: Clears out all active clouds, fronts, landspouts, and supercells.
  • /weatherphysics supercell : Creates a test supercell storm event.

How to Use:

  1. Press R to toggle the radar screen onto your display.
  2. Scroll the mouse wheel while viewing the radar to zoom in or zoom out.
  3. Watch the radar icons for lightning marks and vortex positions to prepare for oncoming storms.
