Tinkers’ Mechworks Mod (1.16.5, 1.15.2) – Build Automated Defenses

Tinkers’ Mechworks Mod adds a variety of useful redstone machines to Minecraft. These new blocks allow you to create complex and interesting contraptions for your base. You can build automatic bridges, traps, and other automated systems with the tools provided by this mod.

Features:

• Drawbridge: Place and retract any kind of block, even those that pistons cannot move. This block can also hold items in its own inventory, which means you can even use drawbridges to place other drawbridges.
• Firestarter: A special block that creates fire in front of it when it receives a redstone signal. It can also be configured to extinguish the fire when the power is turned off.
• Adds new copper and aluminum ores that generate in the Overworld.
• These ores can be used to craft items from the mod or combined in a smeltery to create aluminum brass if you have Tinkers’ Construct.

World Generation:

Mechworks adds copper and aluminum ores that generate in the overworld, these ores are used to craft items throughout the mod.

If aluminum brass is available, it is used instead. E.g. this mod will provide copper and aluminum for Tinkers’ Construct that you can use to make aluminum brass using the smeltery.

Drawbridge:

Place and retract any kind of block, including ones not normally movable with pistons. They also hold their own inventory as items, meaning you can place drawbridges with drawbridges!

Firestarter:

Sets the block in front of it on fire when given a Redstone signal, and can optionally extinguish it when power is removed
