Better Beds Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – Change the Renderer of Bed

Better Beds Mod changes the renderer of the bed to use json models instead of a block entity renderer. Removes the BlockEntityRenderer from the bed and replaces it with the default minecraft model renderer. This results in increased performance and resourcepack support. But where’s the catch, you may ask. Well, there is no catch, everything behaves the same as vanilla. The only mod that’s incompatible so far is Bedspreads, since that mod uses the block entity renderer of the bed. Also, mods that add custom beds using the default renderer need model files provided for them. Mods that add beds using a custom block entity renderer are untouched.

• Allows players to accelerate time, affecting crop growth, villager trades, and effect durations.
• Sleep during the day, wake up at any chosen time (morning, noon, midnight, etc.).
• Option to disable phantom spawning, preventing nighttime attacks.
• Choose whether to save your spawn point or sleep without changing it.
