Scorch Mod (1.17.1) – New Functional Blocks

Scorch Mod is a modification for Fabric that tweaks a number of different parts of the Nether and adds a few new blocks with unique functionalities. It was initially envisioned as a rebalancing of gunpowder, but it eventually evolved into something far more. The Crimson Forest, the Nether Wastes, and the Soul Sand Valley all have surface areas with high concentrations of pyrack. Below the surface, it can be found in every biome. Pyrack will explode if it comes into contact with a flame bow, flint and steel, fire charges, fire, fireballs, or explosions. When mined without silk touch, pyrack will drop gunpowder. The new structure known as a Wither Sanctum will appear more frequently in Soul Sand Valleys than in the Nether Wastes or the Crimson Forest, where it will only appear very infrequently. Keep an eye out for them, because there are times when they are hard to find.
