Mebahel’s Antique Beasts Mod (1.20.1) – Battle Mythological Beasts

Mebahel’s Antique Beasts Mod fills your world with legendary creatures and lost civilizations. This mod pulls inspiration from classic mythology to give you new monsters to fight and ancient ruins to explore. You can hunt down dangerous beasts, tame mythical pets, and raid massive dungeons for loot. It changes how enemies spawn and fight, making survival much harder.

Features:

• Wandering Patrols: Enemy groups spawn randomly and march across the land to hunt you down.
• Nether Scaling: Raids become much harder and more dangerous after you travel to the Nether.
• Monsters use smarter combat tactics and work together to defeat players.
• Works perfectly with the Better Combat mod for better weapon swings and hits.

Greek and Norse Mobs:

• Fight Greek warriors like Hoplites, Cyclops, and the multi-headed Chimera.
• Face Norse fighters including Valkyries, Huskarls, and axe-throwing soldiers.

Egyptian and Undead Mobs:

• Encounter Egyptian mummies, elephant riders, and deadly Wadjet snakes.
• Battle different types of undead Draugrs, including archers and scourges.

Dwemer Automatons:

• Fight mechanical spiders and centurions that take more damage from blunt weapons.

World Structures:

• Find Norse military camps and ancient Greek temples filled with high-tier loot.
• Search Egyptian pyramids guarded by traps and secrets.

Configuration:

• antiquebeasts_config.json: Turn off patrols or change how often they spawn.
• antiquebeasts_spawn_rate_config.json: Change the natural spawn rate for every single creature.
• antiquebeasts_bonus_health_config.json: Give monsters extra health points for a harder challenge.
• antiquebeasts_armor_value_config.json: Change the defense stats for all custom armor pieces.

How to Play:

1. Craft a Thuriasz Rune and keep it in your hand or off-hand.
2. Find and defeat 20 Draugr enemies while holding the rune.
3. Survive the three waves of the invasion that spawns around you.
4. Open the treasure chest that appears after you defeat the final wave.
