Boss Companions Mod (1.20.1) – Turn Defeated Bosses Into Loyal Fighting Pets

Boss Companions Mod turns the biggest fights in the game into a chance to get a new friend. Instead of just picking up normal loot after you defeat a boss, you get a tiny pet version of that exact monster. These little buddies follow you around and jump into battle to help you fight. Each mini boss comes with its own special powers to make your adventures easier.

Features:

• Tiny Boss Pets: Defeating a boss drops a miniature version of that monster to keep as a pet.
• Unique Abilities: Each companion gives you special buffs or fights for you in different ways.
• The Witherite pet spawns extra helpers whenever it defeats an enemy.
• The Wardling companion hits incredibly hard to protect you from danger.
• Players get Water Breathing and Dolphin’s Grace when swimming with the Guardian’s Hatchling.
• The Dragon Hatchling grants infinite Elytra flying while it travels with you.
• The Mini Spud companion reacts when you feed it a Poisonous Potato.
• This addition plans to add pet versions for bosses from many other popular community packs.

How to Use:

1. Fight and defeat a boss to make it drop its tiny companion form.
2. Tame the Witherite by giving it a Wither Rose.
3. Hand an Echo Shard to the Wardling to make it your friend.
4. Give Cod to the Guardian’s Hatchling egg so it hatches into a pet.
5. Tame the Dragon Hatchling using an Ender Pearl.
6. Give a normal Potato to the Mini Spud to tame it.
