Spider Overhaul Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – Survive Deadly New Spiders

Spider Overhaul Mod populates your world with unique new spiders based on different biomes. This mod adds special spiders to deserts, jungles, swamps, and snowy areas. Each spider has its own way to fight you, from shooting spines to trapping you in webs. You can also collect new items from them to craft fun weapons or decorative blocks. It makes exploring different areas much more exciting.

Features:

• Biome Spiders: Adds six new spiders that spawn in specific environments across the overworld.
• Each spider has unique attack styles and drops special items when defeated.
• Players can switch between two different model styles for the spiders in the config file.

New Spiders:

• Birch Spiders hide inside fallen birch logs and wait for players.
• Desert Spiders shoot out sharp spines when they die.
• Swamp Spiders disguise themselves as lilypads and swim very well in water.
• Cavern Spiders carry precious gems on their backs and shoot webs to trap you.
• Jungle Spiders move fast, deal poison damage, and drop special pollen.
• Ice Spiders use freezing venom to slow down their prey.

Items and Effects:

• Jungle spider pollen turns normal bamboo into thick Giant Bamboo blocks.
• Ice chunks from the Ice spider craft special ice snowballs.
• The Bogged effect makes you sink to the bottom of the water and stops you from swimming.
• The Icy effect makes your feet slip around on any block you walk on.
• The Webbed effect traps you, but you can escape early by clicking your left mouse button fast.
