Alternate Current Mod optimizes redstone dust to reduce lag in your world. Vanilla redstone checks and updates blocks too many times, which slows down the game. This mod calculates power for the whole network at once and removes unnecessary block updates. It lowers redstone lag by up to 30 times and keeps normal vanilla behavior intact. Simple circuits see a small change, while large and complex setups get a big performance boost.
Features:
- Calculates power for the entire redstone network first before changing any wire power levels.
- Limits each redstone wire to checking non-wire blocks once and other wires twice.
- Sends out block and shape updates only when a wire reaches its final power level, removing redundant updates.
- Triggers block and shape updates in a predictable order that does not depend on location, fixing bug MC-11193.
- Lowers redstone dust processing time (MSPT) by up to 30 times.
- Works as a direct replacement for vanilla redstone dust while keeping high vanilla parity.
