Tired of uneven armor progression and surprise one-shots? Look no further than the Armor and Damage Scaling Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2)! It smooths out Vanilla’s armor curve, making each defense point count without breaking modded gear. No more diamond armor leaps! Plus, it introduces toughness, a dynamic shield that strengthens with incoming damage, guarding you against instant KOs. Don’t worry about mod conflicts either – this mod harmonizes attack values across the board, creating a balanced and engaging combat experience. Gear up and face the world with confidence!

Features:

  • Oneshot protection through armor toughness: Armor toughness is now an additional layer of damage reduction, which grows with the percentage of health the hit would take and thus reduces the chance for oneshots.
  • Increases all mod compatibility: Player damage dealt gets normalized, reducing the large differences in modded item attack values
  • More consistent armor damage reduction: Vanilla’s armor damage reduction is very irregular, it e.g. jumps doubles when going from iron armor to diamond armor. This mod changes armor damage reduction to be more seamless, each point of armor giving a percent of dmg reduced, which allows modded armor with higher armor values to be still useful, but also not super overpowered.
