Armored Elytra Plus Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) allows you to use an Elytra without losing the protection of a chestplate. By combining both items, you can create reinforced wings that provide flight and armor at the same time. This removes the usual trade-off between mobility and defense when exploring or fighting in the air.
