Beggars Mod (1.20.1) adds special Beggars that allow players to give items and receive rewards in return. Each Beggar type has unique spawn conditions and loot behavior.

Features:

  • Villager Beggar
    • Spawn: Replaces a random child Villager when a village first generates
    • Chance: 40%
  • Zombie Beggar
    • Spawn: Replaces a Chest Minecart in a Mineshaft
    • Chance: 25%
  • Witch Beggar
    • Spawn: Created when Lightning strikes a Villager Beggar
    • Behavior: Randomly changes the items it asks for
  • Loot & Rewards
    • Each Beggar has its own loot table for rewards
    • Loot tables can be customized or replaced
    • The Witch Beggar also uses a loot table to decide requested items
