Eight new furnaces and four upgrades change how raw materials are smelted with Better Furnaces, an add-on that needs Experimental Features enabled. Both the behavior pack and the resource pack must be applied to your world.

The furnaces are the Copper, Iron, Gold, Amethyst, Emerald, Diamond, Obsidian and Netherite Furnaces, each faster than the last. The Copper Furnace takes nine seconds per item, and advanced models can smelt multiple items at once. The interface has six slots: input, fuel, output and three upgrade slots. Each furnace shows a particle effect when it starts, and the Netherite and Obsidian Furnaces resist explosions.

  • Turn on Experimental Features — this addon uses scripting APIs
  • Apply BOTH the behavior and the resource pack to your world
