This mod, Colorful Subtitles Mod (1.20.5, 1.20.1), adds a new feature to the game that allows players to change the color of the subtitles that appear in-game. It may rain, there may be monsters, and there may be animals, but everything is described in words thanks to a feature of the game called subtitles, which allows players of Minecraft to know what’s going on with just the text they’re reading. However, there are times when you might get confused between the various subtitles, so in order to make things more clear: The Colorful Subtitles Mod will modify the color of the text used in subtitles based on the sound they accompany. If there is a hostile creature making noise next to it, the subtitles will show up in red; if it is a weather sound like rain or storm, then the color of the subtitles will be aqua color. This is done to make it easy to understand. Because of these additions, it will be much simpler for you to understand what the subtitles are talking about or what is causing the sound. In the standard version of Minecraft, you will only be aware that there is a sound.

Subtitles will automatically have a different color depending on their sound category:

  • Music: dark purple
  • Records: dark red
  • Weather: aqua
  • Blocks: green
  • Hostile: red
  • Neutral: yellow
  • Players: gold
  • Ambient: gray
  • Voice: light purple
