Chainmail armor has existed in the game for a very long time. In the earlier versions of the game from over a decade ago, chainmail armor pieces could be crafted using fire in its form. Shortly later, this was removed from the game. In the modern versions of the game, chainmail armor cannot be crafted. The only way to obtain them in survival mode is by relying on mob drops and from loot chests. Craftable Chainmail Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.6) is here to change that. As the name suggests, this mod adds crafting recipes for all four chainmail armor pieces. All of them use chains in their crafting recipes.
