Demogorgons Mod (1.20.1) adds Demogorgons from the series Stranger Things into Minecraft. Over time, they will begin to enter the game world through portals, emit loud and frightening sounds, and start hunting the player – and basically all living creatures. These are not bosses, but regular mobs. They move very fast, deal heavy damage, and look extremely creepy, especially at night.

New Creatures

  • Enemies climb walls, leap across terrain, and ambush from darkness
  • Color variants and blood effects show creature damage states

Combat & Defense

  • Fire is the only effective method to close portals
  • Use a Flamethrower powered by fire charges
  • Failure allows portals to remain and spread corruption

Gameplay Style

  • Persistent threat instead of single boss fights
  • Atmospheric horror with sound-based danger
  • Focus on awareness, timing, and survival strategy
