Drown to Live Addon (v26, 1.21) changes the rules of respiration by reversing the roles of water and air. Water is the primary source of oxygen, sustaining life; air causes suffocation. Players take dehydration damage when leaving the water. The system has settings to change the number of air bubbles and movement speed. Underwater breathing potions still work normally. This feature works in all dimensions and only affects the player.
