Eugene’s Whistle and Spur Mod (1.20.6, 1.20.1) transforms your horse-riding experience. Press H key, you can whistle to your tamed horse, donkey, or mule, making it neigh and highlight itself for a few seconds, find its way to you, or teleport closer if needed. Your loyal ride must be within 128 blocks to hear the whistle unless configured otherwise. Additionally, the new Ender horse armor lets you call your horse anytime, anywhere, and even revive it if it dies. Plus, the spur feature allows you to make your horse run faster by pressing H, giving it a small boost of speed at the cost of a little health.

Features:

Horse Whistle Function

  • Press H to whistle.
  • Your saddled horse will neigh, highlight itself for a few seconds, and try to reach you.
  • If necessary, it will teleport closer and then follow you for a while.

Requirements for Calling

  • The horse/donkey/mule must be tamed by you.
  • It must be within 128 blocks to hear the whistle. (Configurable in versions after 1.0.1)
  • It cannot be leashed or currently ridden.

Ender Horse Armor

  • Equip your horse with Ender horse armor to:
  • Call your horse anytime, anywhere.
  • Revive your horse if it dies.

Spur Feature

  • While riding, press H to spur your horse.
  • The horse takes a small amount of damage but gains a temporary speed boost.
  • There are two spur levels: spur up to twice to make it run even faster.
