Extra Gore Mod (1.20.1) – Blood Effects & Particles

Vanilla Minecraft’s damage effect is just the mob taking damage flashing red for a second. This is not very realistic or detailed, compared to other games that have damage mechanics. Some games even include realistic blood particles with realistic physics applied to them. If you want to add splashing blood particles into your game, Extra Gore Mod is for you. With this mod installed, mobs will splash blood particles upon being hit. Living mobs like villagers splash red blood particles, while mobs like creepers, zombies and witches splash green particles.
