Friendly Griefing Mod allows players to configure a list of specific mobs or entities to bypass the “mobGriefing” gamerule when it is set to false. In Minecraft, the “mobGriefing” rule controls whether mobs can destroy or alter blocks in the world. When set to false, it prevents destructive behaviors such as Creepers exploding and breaking blocks, Endermen moving blocks, or Withers causing destruction. However, this also unintentionally blocks certain behaviors of some mobs, such as Villagers harvesting crops, breeding, or picking up items. The Friendly Griefing Mod addresses this issue by creating an allowlist of specific mobs that are exempt from this gamerule, preserving their useful features while preventing destructive mobs from causing damage.
