Gear Core Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) is a library mod for the creation of equipment modifiers that can apply entity attributes or track a variety of events like taking damage, killing mobs, and more.

Features:
Gear Sets
- Allows creation of custom gear set bonuses via datapack.
- Supports RPG-style set bonuses for any combination of items.
- Sets can have tiers, custom formatting, and be applied to nearly any item.
- Automatic tooltips show set bonuses on relevant items.
- Includes EMI support for displaying sets, items, and bonus descriptions.
- Supports Attributes (including custom ones) and Equipment Modifiers.
- Attributes can be added via datapack; modifiers currently require code implementation.
Equipment Modifiers
- Enable attaching custom effects and attributes to equipment.
- Not affected by grindstones, enchanting tables, or other vanilla systems.
- Built on the Fzzy Core modifier framework, supporting inheritance (lineages) instead of stacking.

Modifier Features
- Attribute Modifiers: Add or stack standard Minecraft attributes.
- Durability Modifier: Adjust durability flatly or by percentage.
- Post Hit Events: Trigger actions after hitting an entity.
- Post Mine Events: Trigger actions after mining a block.
- On Use Events: Add activated abilities via right-click.
- Incoming Damage Modification: Modify or react to incoming damage (e.g., reduce magic damage).
- Mob Kill Events: Trigger actions after killing a mob.
- Other Modifiers: Attach and process nested modifiers.
Modifier Rolling System
- Allows randomized assignment of modifiers to gear.
- Modifier Targets: Work similarly to EnchantmentTarget but extendable.
- Weight: Determines selection probability during rolling.
- Rarity: Defines tooltip color and style.
Rarity Levels
- Legendary: Gold, Bold
- Epic: Light Purple
- Rare: Aqua
- Uncommon: Dark Green
- Common: Gray
- Bad: Dark Red
- Really Bad: Dark Red, Bold
Toll System
- Each modifier has a toll cost that consumes from a rolling pool.
- Default toll: 5; average pool: 5.75.
- Used to fine-tune selection probability and rarity balance.
Persistence and Availability
- Persistent modifiers remain after rerolls (e.g., innate or cursed modifiers).
- Unavailable modifiers can be excluded from random rolls (e.g., fixed item bonuses).
