Grim Anticheat Mod (1.21.10, 1.20.1) is an open-source anticheat mod for Minecraft. The mod is designed to protect servers from cheating by accurately simulating player movement and interaction, and can handle multiple players at once while maintaining high performance. Geyser / Bedrock when used via Floodgate is also supported with check exemption if configured correctly.

Features:

  • Simulates player movement in great detail, including walking, swimming, vehicle use, jumping, knockback, and environmental interactions, which allows for accurate detection of movement cheats (like fly, speed, reach, noclip).
  • Uses an asynchronous, multi-threaded design for packet checks and listening, which keeps the mod running smoothly even when the server is crowded.
  • Replicates the world per player based on chunk/block/block change data, ensuring accurate position, collision, block break/place checks, even when the server is highly dynamic.
  • Latency compensation and inventory tracking are included to avoid false positives when players lag or have high ping.
