Hunting Dimension Mod adds a new dimension to Minecraft where it is always night, letting you hunt for mob drops anytime. This is perfect for when you need resources but it’s daytime in the overworld, especially on servers. The new dimension is designed to be a dedicated place for farming and fighting mobs.

Hunting Dimension Mod

Features:

  • Travel to a new dimension that is always dark, so mobs can spawn constantly.
  • Mobs in the hunting dimension are stronger, with extra health, armor, and damage.
  • You can change the mob difficulty settings in the config file.
  • Any helpful potion effects on you will wear off twice as fast inside this dimension.
  • Killed mobs have a chance to drop extra loot, similar to the Looting enchantment.
  • Defeated mobs can also drop additional experience points.
  • The dimension has fewer caves, which makes building efficient mob farms easier.
  • Lets you craft Creeping Moss, an item that can change the biome of a chunk in the hunting dimension.

How to Use:

  1. To get to the new dimension, first craft Portal blocks by surrounding one arrow with 8 wooden logs.
  2. Build a portal frame using these blocks, just like a Nether portal.
  3. Light the portal by right-clicking it with most weapons or with a flint and steel.
  4. Step into the active portal and Sneak to travel to the Hunting Dimension.
  5. To use Creeping Moss, Sneak and right-click in a biome you want to copy.
  6. Then, go to the Hunting Dimension and right-click with the moss (without sneaking) to change the biome of the chunk you are in.

Crafting Recipes:

Portal blocks are crafted by surrounding an arrow with 8 wooden logs. The frame of the portal behaves in the same way as the nether portal. The portal can be lit by right clicking on it with most weapons. If all else fails, flint and steel can also light the portal. Once the portal is activated, enter it and sneak.
