Manual Ignition

• You need to light up your furnaces manually before they’ll start cooking.
• This works for both vanilla and modded furnaces!

Multiple Ignition Methods

• Light furnaces with Flint and Steel or craft the
• Sparkling Flint for early game.
• Want to use your own items?
• Just add them via in-game configuration!

Environmental Factors

• Place furnaces over lava or fire for automatic ignition like in vanilla game.
• No manual lighting needed.
• Rain will cancel this effect, requiring manual lighting again!

Switchgrass

• Find Switchgrass blocks in the world.
• Harvest them when they reach 2nd or 3rd growth stage to get Switchgrass Fiber.
• You’ll need several harvests to craft Sparkling Flint and start your adventure!
