LiteBans Plugin (1.21.8, 1.20.1) designed to streamline moderation across single or networked servers. With support for multiple database types (H2, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL), it enables synchronized bans, mutes, warnings, and kicks across servers linked to the same database. LiteBans is ideal for server administrators seeking efficient and transparent moderation tools.

Features:

  • Synchronizes bans, mutes, kicks, and warnings across multiple servers using a shared database, ensuring consistent moderation for large networks.
  • Offers commands like /ban, /mute, /kick, /warn, and /history with silent execution options (e.g., /ban -s). Features a web interface for public punishment visibility, enhancing transparency.
  • Highly configurable via files (e.g., config.yml, messages.yml) for tailored punishment messages, durations, and behaviors, with support for variables like executorPrefix.
  • Optimized for minimal server impact, supports Fabric, Spigot, Bungee, Velocity, and Folia, and includes recent fixes for issues like configuration reloading on Paper 1.20+.
  • Includes anti-Xray, geoIP blacklisting, and improved command blocking for muted players. Integrates with plugins like LuckPerms for enhanced permission handling.

Commands:

  • /litebans reload : Reloads the plugin and reconnects to the database.
  • /litebans allow : Allow specific users to connect to the server even if they are blocked by IP or GeoIP.
  • /litebans info : Provides information about the state of the database connection, the number of active connections and shows the servers connected to the same database.
  • /litebans broadcast : This command allows you to broadcast any message using the LiteBans broadcast channel.
  • /litebans timezone [timezone]
  • /litebans unlink : Unlinks all IPs of the given player from /alts. This unlinks the target accounts. If the same IP is linked to these accounts again in the future, they will be relinked.
  • /litebans cleariphistory <name/UUID/IP> : Clears the IP history for a given name, UUID, or IP address. For general use, the unlink command is preferred as it allows punishment history to be displayed correctly.
  • /litebans reset-database : Clears all punishments from the database. This command requires confirmation and can only be run via console.
  • /litebans fixhistory : Usually not needed. Adds missing username+UUID entries to the history table. Can be used after cleariphistory, but this only works in online mode as usernames are pulled from Mojang.
  • /litebans addhistory : Allows you to directly add IP history to the database.
