Mana and Artifice Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is a large-scale magic overhaul that serves as a spiritual successor to Ars Magica 2. It introduces an extensive array of magical items, abilities, leveling systems, factions, rituals, and powers related to time manipulation and elemental control.  The mod is almost fully translated into Russian and features a detailed guidebook containing essential information, crafting recipes, and ritual methods. To obtain the guidebook, players must purchase it from a special villager in exchange for Victuum, which can be crafted from ore.

Factions & Conflict:

  • Players can align with one of three factions, while remaining hostile to the other two:
  • Demons of the Nether – Specialize in fire-based attacks.
  • Courts of the Fae – Focus on trickery and deception.
  • Ancient Mage Council – Master defense and mana-based abilities.
  • Joining a faction requires performing a special ritual, unlocked at rank 2. Once aligned, rival factions may send assassins after the player. Each faction grants unique magical abilities and items.

Gameplay Mechanics:

  • Spellcraft & Rituals – Design and cast custom spells.
  • Magic Items – Craft and wield powerful enchanted artifacts.
  • Golems – Create personal guardians to defend you or perform tasks like resource gathering.
