Mirai Shader (v26, 1.21) is based on a heavily modified Vibrant Visual Pipeline inside Minecraft Bedrock Edition’s Render Dragon engine, where the creator has rebuilt and adjusted a total of 50 materials from this pipeline to produce its realistic visuals featuring enhanced lighting, volumetric clouds, screen-space reflections, and improved water effects. This release marks a complete reboot of Bambosan’s original Mirai Shader project, with all changes implemented through custom JSON and shader material files that fully leverage Bedrock’s modern rendering system introduced since version 1.16+.

Features:
- New Lighting System – completely rebuilt lighting with baked Ambient Occlusion separated from albedo for much more natural ambient light, plus smooth real-time fading transitions during sunset-to-night and night-to-sunrise.
- Real-time Volumetric Clouds – optional permeable clouds that actually cast shadows (turned off by default because they’re heavy on performance).
- Improved Water – brand new surface wave animation and enhanced water caustics.
- Better Screen-Space Reflections (SSR) – clearer, sharper reflections with improved vertical tracing and no blurry screen-edge fading.
- Volumetric Fog – beautiful underwater volumetric fog + atmospheric fog with reduced mie scattering and dynamic intensity (stronger at sunrise).
- Visual Polish – reduced overall color saturation, brighter and less saturated shadows, new 2D cloud model, and a custom sun rendered directly in shader code (moon still uses the vanilla texture).
- Works beautifully in the Overworld, Nether, and The End.
