MobsBeGone Mod (1.21.1, 1.21) lets you completely disable mob spawns using a simple blacklist system. It’s designed for players and modpack creators who want fine-grained control over entity spawning without the complexity of larger mods.

Features:

  • Disable any vanilla mob or modded by listing its entity ID in a mobsbegone-blacklist.json config file.
  • Prevents blacklisted mobs from spawning via natural generation, commands, structures, or spawners.
  • Uses a fast O(1) lookup table to check spawn attempts and discards blacklisted entities before they appear.
  • Blacklisted mobs are marked for removal on the next server tick, avoiding crashes or visual glitches.
