In the vanilla game, using spruce planks to craft doors will give you spruce doors, using oak planks will give you oak doors, and using warped fungi planks will give you warped fungi doors. But for items like bookshelves, it doesn’t matter what wood type you use, the recipe is always going to give you bookshelves with the oak plank texture. More Bookshelves Mod (1.20.1, 1.17.1) is here to bring a change. With this mod installed, you will be able to craft bookshelves for all of the wood variants in the game, including the Nether fungi variants. Using a mixture of two or more plank variants in a recipe will give you a regular bookshelf.
