The Portal Gun addon introduces a unique teleportation mechanic to Minecraft Bedrock, allowing players to manipulate their environment and interact with mobs in new ways. This pack requires experimental features to be enabled, as it leverages scripting APIs to bring its innovative gameplay to life. Players can craft various portal guns, each offering distinct visual styles for the portals they create. The addon also includes an additional tool, the Gravity Gun, which expands the possibilities for interacting with the game world.

When in use, the portal gun item appears blue by default. Firing it generates a blue portal, and a subsequent shot with the same gun will create an orange portal, establishing a linked pair. Players can switch the color of the active portal gun by crouching and firing, adding a layer of tactical choice. To clear existing portals, one simply needs to look straight down while crouching and fire the portal gun. The addon offers three distinct portal gun models, including a normal version, a “Potato Portal Gun” featuring Bullet B Glados and Bullet O Glados, and a “Rick and Morty Portal Gun” with Bullet B Rnm and Bullet O Rnm, each influencing the appearance of the generated portals.

Beyond the primary portal functionality, the Gravity Gun allows players to pick up and launch entities, adding a fun and chaotic element to gameplay. The addon also features a “Pg Book” to guide players through its mechanics. The various portal gun models manifest visually as Portal B and Portal O for the standard gun, Portal B Glados and Portal O Glados for the potato variant, and Portal B Rnm and Portal O Rnm for the Rick and Morty version, providing a diverse aesthetic experience as players explore the new possibilities this addon introduces.
