Random Island Data Pack (1.21.10, 1.20.1) is a Skyblock/Island survival style datapack, offering random island gameplay: players spawn on a small island, then blocks are “randomized” periodically, creating a different challenge and survival feel than traditional Minecraft.
Features:
- At the start, the player spawns on a basic wooden island with an oak tree – the starting island.
- After selecting a game mode, the datapack will start the random block mechanism: blocks spawn randomly in a defined area near the island, with a refresh area size of 6 × 3 × 3.
- The time between random blocks depends on the number of players and the selected mode:
- In normal mode (“Slow / Casual mode”), the refresh interval varies depending on the number of players, for example, about 70 seconds for individuals, with more players it can be reduced to ~30 seconds.
- In fast mode (“Fast mode”), the refresh interval is shorter – for example, ~30 seconds for individuals, with more players it can be reduced to ~10 seconds.
