Saros Fakename Port Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) is a Minecraft Java mod ported from the original Fakename mod. This mod allows you to set fake display names for players in the world or server, making those names appear in chat, above players’ heads, and in death messages as you wish without changing your real account name.

Features:

  • The following commands are provided by the mod for you to manipulate fake names:
    • /fakename set [player]
    • /fakename clear [player]
    • /realname
    • /fakename set [player] : Set a fake name for the player (leave [player] blank to set your own name).
    • /fakename clear [player] : Delete the fake name, restore the real name.
    • /realname:  Restore the real name of the player using that fake name (syntax may vary slightly depending on the version)
    • Alias ​​commands like /fn, /fname are used to set/remove fake names, and /rn, /rname are used to look up real names (aliases may vary depending on the version).
