SCP-001 The Gate Guardian Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a unique, indestructible guardian entity that protects a mysterious Gate structure. It cannot be defeated and must be avoided.

Features:

• Adds entity: SCP-001 (The Gate Guardian)
• Spawns together with a special Gate structure
• Acts as a proximity-based instant-kill protector
• Designed as an unavoidable world threat

Spawning

• Generates as a structure in:
  • Desert biomes
  • Badlands biomes
• Very rare world generation
• Only one instance can exist in a world

Behavior

• Floats in front of the Gate and does not wander
• Always glowing and visible from far away
• Surrounded by constant particle effects
• Cannot be damaged or killed by any method

Warning System

• Responds when players approach:
  • At 120 blocks: displays warning message LEAVE
  • At 100 blocks: displays YOU ARE NOT WELCOME
  • At 80 blocks: displays YOU SHALL NOT PASS
• Final stage actions:
  • Raises and slams its sword
  • Instantly kills the player
  • Removes nearby entities

Gate Details

• The Gate is part of the structure model
• It is decorative and not usable as a portal
• Other portal mods do not trigger the Guardian
