SCP-031 What is Love Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a deceptive stalker entity that appears friendly at first, then turns hostile at close range. It is designed as a trap mob that uses visual effects and messages to lure careless players.

Features:

• Adds the entity SCP-031 from the SCP universe
• Spawns once on the Overworld surface
• Uses a human disguise to attract attention
• Designed around distance-based behavior and ambush

Disguise Behavior

• Appears in a harmless human form
• Watches nearby players and plays giggle sounds
• Shows short lure messages when players approach
• Stops and changes pose to keep attention

Distance Triggers

• Within about 16 blocks:
  • Stops moving and displays lure text
• Within about 14 blocks:
  • Applies Love effect
  • Heart particles and pink overlay appear
• Within about 5 blocks:
  • Stops again and attempts to draw the player closer

True Form Attack

• When the player gets too close:
  • Disguise is removed
  • Entity switches to monster form
• Attack effects can include:
  • Short stun
  • Movement disable
  • Nausea and Darkness
  • Strong damage-over-time effect
• Very dangerous at close range

Spawn Rules

• Only one instance exists at a time
• Spawns on the Overworld surface
• Uses a fixed disguise skin
