SCP-075 The Corrosive Snail Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Acid Trail Predator

SCP-075 The Corrosive Snail Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a fast, highly dangerous snail entity with corrosive effects and a special dormant mechanic. Only one can exist in a world at a time.

Features:

• Adds entity: SCP-075 (Corrosive Snail)
• Unique boss-like hostile mob
• Leaves corrosive particle trails while moving
• Has an optional dormant (inactive) state

Spawning

• Spawns on the overworld surface at night
• Spawns similarly to a normal monster
• Only one instance can exist per world

Movement and Abilities

• Moves at high speed despite being a snail
• Can climb vertical walls
• Can perform short jumps like a spider
• When aggressive:
  • Breaks blocks in front of it
  • Chases nearby targets

Attack Effects

• Applies status effects on hit:
  • Wither
  • Corrosion
• High durability and strong damage output

Dormant State

• Can become inactive when standing on:
  • sand
  • red_sand
  • soul_sand
• While dormant:
  • Does not move
  • Appears harmless
• Wakes up if:
  • It is attacked
  • Its health is reduced significantly
  • The block under it is changed (for example to dirt, grass, mud, water, or honey)

Containment Tips

• Can be transported while dormant
• Works with boats and minecarts
• Useful since only one SCP-075 can spawn
