SCP-1499 The Gas Mask Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) adds a special wearable item that lets players travel to a separate, hostile dimension.

Features:

• SCP-1499 is a gas mask item from the SCP universe
• When worn, it teleports the player to a dark alternate dimension
• Removing the mask returns the player to the overworld

How to get and use

• Spawns lying on the ground in the overworld
• Right-click to pick it up
• Right-click while holding to wear and activate it
• Remove the mask to return to the overworld
• Hold Shift while removing to avoid losing the mask

SCP-1499 Dimension

• Flat world with a dark sky
• Filled with tall, pillar-like structures
• Designed as a dangerous exploration area

Creatures

• SCP-1499-1
  • Humanoid hostile entities
  • Become aggressive when approached or attacked
  • Can alert nearby units to attack together
• SCP-1499-1 Leader
  • Rarer and slightly larger variant
  • When angered, nearby units quickly target the player
