SCP-372 The Peripheral Jumper Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a fast, unpredictable creature inspired by the SCP universe. It behaves very differently from normal mobs and is designed to surprise players rather than chase them directly.

Features:

• Based on SCP-372, also known as The Peripheral Jumper
• Insect-like, grasshopper-shaped creature
• Extremely high movement speed
• Only one instance can exist in the world at a time

Main Behavior

• Moves in sudden, rapid bursts
• Usually avoids players instead of chasing them
• Often appears briefly in front of the player, then vanishes
• Contact with the creature can deal heavy damage
• Immune to most or all damage sources

Spawning

• Spawns naturally in the Overworld
• Uses special spawn conditions like many custom mobs
• May not spawn if required conditions are not met
• Can be harder to summon with /summon if conditions fail
