SCP-457 The Burning Man Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a living fire entity that hunts players and spreads flames across the environment. It is highly dangerous but has a clear elemental weakness.

Features:

• Adds the entity SCP-457 (Burning Man)
• Appears as a humanoid-shaped living flame
• Only one instance can exist at a time
• Spawns in the Overworld like a normal hostile mob
• Emits light and fire while moving

Forms

• Small Flame Form
  • Looks like a simple fire flame
  • Still hostile
  • Transforms into full form when players get close
• Humanoid Flame Form
  • Main combat form
  • Uses fire-based attacks

Abilities

• Leaves a trail of fire on the ground
• Ignites targets when attacking
• Can use fire projectiles and heat effects
• Interacts with blocks:
  • May destroy nearby coal blocks
  • May convert nearby water into hot magma-like blocks

Weakness

• Water and rain weaken or extinguish SCP-457
• When extinguished:
  • Loses most fire abilities
  • Becomes much less dangerous

Game Rule Option

• You can disable fire trail placement with:
  • /gamerule burningManSetsFire false

• Carry water or fight near water sources
• Avoid wooden builds when it is nearby
• Do not approach small flames carelessly
• Use distance and terrain to control fire spread
