SCP-6096 The Blanket Ghost Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a night-time hunter that relentlessly follows players until sunrise. It cannot be fought normally and must be temporarily banished with a special item.

Features:

  • Adds the entity SCP-6096 (Blanket Ghost)
  • Appears as a figure hidden under a blanket
  • Spawns only during night on the overworld surface
  • Only one instance can exist at a time
  • Disappears automatically at daytime

Behavior

  • Spawns with one of three different faces
  • Always knows the nearest player’s location
  • Slow movement but very resilient
  • Immune to most normal damage
  • Chases the player continuously until sunrise

Danger Effects

  • Within about 16 blocks:
    • Players cannot attack
  • If it reaches a player:
    • Deals extremely high damage
    • Then disappears

How to Stop It (Temporarily)

  • Use a Crucifix item
  • Works within about 10 blocks
  • Triggers a banish effect with chains
  • Removes SCP-6096 for the rest of the night
  • It can return on later nights

Quick Tips for New Players

  • Avoid night travel without a Crucifix
  • Do not rely on armor or normal weapons
  • Create safe shelters before night
  • If you see the blanket figure – keep distance and prepare to banish it
