SCP-718 Eyeballs Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Living Eyes Hunt You

SCP-718 Eyeballs Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a strange stalking creature from the SCP universe. It watches players, approaches slowly, and can spread a dangerous visual infection if handled carelessly.

Features:

• Adds a new mob: SCP-718 (Eyeballs)
• Appears as a tall eye mounted on a stalk
• Focuses on tracking and pressuring nearby players

Spawning

• Spawns in the overworld like a normal hostile mob
• No special structure required

Behavior

• Remains still until it detects a player
• After detection:
  • Slowly moves toward the player
  • Keeps facing the player while moving
  • Stops at about 5 blocks distance
• If the player comes within 3 blocks:
  • Can apply Eye Infection effect
  • The effect gradually distorts vision

On Death Mechanics

• When SCP-718 is defeated:
  • May create a Black Bubble
  • The bubble hatches after a short time
  • Hatching creates a new SCP-718
• If a player dies while affected by Eye Infection:
  • A Black Bubble can also appear
  • This can lead to another SCP-718 spawning

Prevention

• Fire prevents special spread mechanics
• If SCP-718 or its bubble is burning:
  • No infection is applied
  • No Black Bubble will hatch
• Burn bubbles quickly to stop new spawns

Player Tips

• Keep distance to avoid infection
• Finish fights with fire when possible
• Destroy bubbles before they hatch
