SCP-745 Headlights Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Not Every Light Is Safe

SCP-745 Headlights Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a dangerous nighttime predator inspired by the SCP universe. These creatures are easy to recognize by the bright glowing lights on their heads and are designed to hunt players on the surface at night.

Features:

• New hostile entity: SCP-745 (Headlights)
• Spawns in the Overworld at night
• Appears in small groups:
  • Usually 1–3 per group
  • Only a limited number can exist at once
• Highly visible glowing “headlights” in the dark

Detection & Behavior

• Can detect players from up to 80 blocks away
• Becomes aggressive when:
  • Player is in a bright area (light level ≥ 13)
  • Player is riding another entity
• Movement abilities:
  • Gains more speed when the target is far away
  • Becomes very fast within 20 blocks
  • Can leap forward within 5 blocks
  • Leap can break some blocks in its path

Combat Difficulty

• High health
• High movement speed
• Strong melee damage
• Best avoided or prepared for at night
