Vanilla shields are very boring and even have some unresolved bugs with them. They also haven’t been updated in a long time, which is very concerning to players who enjoy in-game combat. Shield Overhaul Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is here with an improved version of shields that comes with some new features. This mod adds slamming, parrying and other various mechanics to shields.

Features:

  • Attack while blocking to dash forward and slam enemies, stunning them for a configurable duration.
  • Blocking at the right moment stuns attackers, adding a tactical layer to combat.
  • Adjust stun immunity, cooldowns, and boss interactions to fit your playstyle.
  • Works with Better Combat and other mods that add shields based on vanilla mechanics.
