The Night Stalker Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) adds a monster into the game that stalks you from far way. The monster goes by the same name as the mod and it is a floating monster that spawns in dark areas. The stalker can spawn both in underground caves and on the world surface. It can spot you from far away and once spotted, will make its way towards you. It has the ability to sprint and climb.
