Underground Villages Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) adds the generation of underground villages in Minecraft. For the most part, they don’t differ much from surface villages, but exploring caves can become more enjoyable and rewarding when you come across one. This isn’t the first mod to introduce underground villages—Stoneholm also does, along with Underground Villages itself. However, both mods have the same downside: they lack detailed design. Villagers still do the same tasks as those on the surface, such as trying to farm crops, but their homes sit on flat ground in large caves. Sometimes village generation aligns with more beautiful caves, such as lush or dripstone caves, which makes them look more visually appealing. The creator could enhance the experience by adding more underground food sources, making caves more detailed, designing tunnel networks for villagers, and much more.
