Unexperienced Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) removes XP orbs from the game to increase difficulty, reduce lag, or align with various modpack scenarios. Instead of gaining XP directly from killing mobs or mining ores, players must find alternative ways to earn experience, such as using Bottles o’ Enchanting.

Features:

  • Remove XP orbs: When killing mobs or mining, you only receive items/loot, with no XP orbs dropping.
  • Modify Bottles o’ Enchanting: By default, you can drink them to gain XP directly (without needing to throw and break them), preventing XP farming.
  • Option for direct XP gain: XP from other sources (like breeding or mining) can be granted directly to the player, avoiding orb spawning that causes lag.
  • Remove XP bar: The mod also hides the experience bar on the HUD, but players need to install the mod to see this change.
