MrCrayfish’s Backpacked Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – Keep Your Items on Dead

MrCrayfish’s Backpacked Mod adds a very simple backpack into the game. It allows you to store additional items. The backpack is perfect for storing items you need at all times as when you die you will not lose your backpack and it’s contents. The backpack is equipped by putting the backpack into the corresponding slot in your inventory. Once equipped, simply press B on your keyboard to open and close. To craft a backpack, use the same shape as a chest but using leather instead.

This is a mod that allows us to craft a backpack that increases our character’s carrying capacity. These backpacks offer a moderate capacity of up to nine slots, aiming to increase carrying capacity while maintaining a reasonable limit. This prevents us from carrying large amounts of items and avoiding the need for chests, unlike some other mods with similar functions. Once this backpack is placed in the corresponding slot, as shown in the image below, it will appear on our character’s back. Additionally, if you die while having the backpack equipped, You won’t lose the backpack or its contents. You can craft this backpack on a crafting table with nine units of leather, leaving the central slot empty. To open and close the backpack inventory, you need to press the ‘B’ key.
