Wwz’s Better Chat Mod (1.20.1, 1.20) changes how the Minecraft chat interface appears and disappears by adding animation. With this mod when opening chat triggers a smooth fade-in and closing it fades out. Sent messages also animate by fading in from the left side of the screen and later fading out in the same direction.
